Elements and Performance Criteria
- Prepare to conduct acceptance testing
- Obtain installation and commissioning documents and planning specifications from appropriate personnel to ensure the installed system is as planned and specified
- Visually inspect new installation and verify compliance of the system against relevant legislation, codes, regulations and standards
- Select and obtain required test equipment for suitability of acceptance testing
- Prepare acceptance schedule and test criteria in consultation with appropriate personnel
- Conduct acceptance testing
- Undertake and analyse performance tests to ensure measurements meet with predetermined specifications and approved operating margins
- Verify performance levels to be within tolerance specifications
- Test protection mechanisms to ensure performance criteria meets the specified standard
- Test alarms for satisfactory operation
- Refer identified problems to appropriate personnel for remedial action
- Record all acceptance test procedures and results
- Complete administrative tasks
